Customers get assigned
Each customer is assigned to a group, and they always get the same group if they click again. No one switches mid-experiment. No discount codes leak between groups.
Measure the difference
The groups get different experiences based on your test type: discount vs full price, one discount vs another, or revealed code vs no code. The difference in purchase rates tells you exactly how many extra sales the promotion drove.
The Core Idea
Not all redemptions are created equal.
If 500 people used your code, some of those sales were genuinely extra: customers who bought because of the discount. Others would have bought anyway at full price.
Promonaut measures this by comparing groups: the discount group vs full price, one discount vs another, or revealed code vs no code. The difference tells you what the promotion actually drove.

Discount Spend at Risk
How much of your discount spend goes to customers who would have bought anyway. This is the margin you can recover.
